En esta pieza, espejos del tamaño de un rostro se adosan a un cuerpo robótico. Se mueven, observan, interactúan aleatoriamente entre sí y con los visitantes.
Pensar en los robots como una nueva especie es parte de mi investigación. ¿Cuál es su función?. ¿Qué independencia o codependencia tienen de los seres humanos?. ¿Cuán a la medida del Hombre están hechos?.
Tanto la ganadería como la agricultura y el mascotismo son domesticaciones del Hombre hacia otras especies. Claro está que esta domesticación ha llegado a otras áreas de la vida en el mundo como el cielo, el agua o, como en este caso, la tecnología.
Las trenzas contienen una memoria mítica, ancestral y cultural. Esa trenza canosa —color que atraviesa todas las etnias al final de la vida— señala una condición común. En esta pieza, la trenza se vuelve artificial: un dispositivo que conecta, entrelaza y mezcla culturas, homogeneizando y creando lazos globales. Una metáfora tecnológica de identidad, tiempo y comunidad planetaria.

In this piece, face-sized mirrors are attached to a robotic body. They move, observe, and interact randomly with each other and with the visitors.
Thinking of robots as a new species is part of my research. What is their function? What independence or codependence do they have with human beings? To what extent are they made in the image of Man?
Just as livestock farming, agriculture, and pet ownership are Man's domestications of other species, it is clear that this domestication has reached other areas of life in the world such as the sky, the water or, as in this case, technology.
Braids carry a mythical, ancestral, and cultural memory. That graying braid—a color that crosses all ethnicities at the end of life—points to a shared human condition. In this piece, the braid becomes artificial: a device that connects, intertwines, and mixes cultures, homogenizing and creating global bonds. A technological metaphor for identity, time, and a planetary community.
